As a data scientist, you will be part of our digital business competence center, which focuses on the internal digital transformation of Mercedes-Benz. This means that we methodically accompany the introduction of new technologies, optimize business processes and develop new data-based solutions, which we also implement. Our task is to identify potential of digital solutions and create innovative tools. Ultimately, we ensure acceleration through data-based decisions.

If you have received an invitation to the selection day, you have come a significant step closer to starting as a Data Scientist. Next, we would like to get to know you personally and test your analytical skills and understanding of the business.

A personal conversation helps you and us to get a better feeling for each other. We offer you the opportunity to get to know our colleagues and gain an insight into their areas of responsibility.

Our tip: Be yourself and get enough information about current topics in the automotive industry.

To test your analytical skills, you will solve two cases on the selection day. Good preparation is also important here, which is why we have provided you with a case for practicing. Our cases primarily deal with problems from the automotive industry.

Shortly after the selection day you will receive detailed feedback as to whether and how you were able to convince us. If you can see yourself as a potential team member too, you will receive a contract offer from Mercedes-Benz AG and thus the opportunity for a permanent position at Mercedes-Benz Management Consulting.
